**Job Summary**
- The Department of Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) within the Faculty of Medicine, delivers an informative and challenging curriculum for the undergraduate and master’s students enrolled in the Medical School, which will prepare them for the next stage of their medical education. Reporting jointly to the Director, UGME and the Director, Reporting & Analytics, the Evaluation Specialist plays a key role in the UGME office’s planning, policy formation and decision making through the production, dissemination, and analysis of program data from various sources. The incumbent co-ordinates the program evaluation activities of the undergraduate and master’s medical programs to ensure these programs meet accreditation standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and oversee evaluation process for undergraduate and master’s programs to ensure timely, valid feedback, continuous quality improvement, and compliance to accreditation standards.
- Coordinate design and updates of evaluation instruments.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure evaluation mythologies and reports adequately support program delivery.
- Collect data and provide analytical feedback (using tools such as SPSS, N-Vivo, Opinio, One45, and others) for all MED years at multiple times throughout the year.
- Conduct ad-hoc evaluations to further address issues arising from other studies. These evaluations are qualitative, such as focus groups, and quantitative, such as statistical analysis of institutional data sets..
- Attend and support undergraduate medical education committees and co-chair Program & Faculty Evaluation Committee. Provide analytical and information support to committees and advise on sources of data, accuracy of data and methodology for access and analysis.

**Note**
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Master’s Degree with a strong emphasis on research methods and data analysis, with five years’ related experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Demonstrated expertise with research methods, analysis and synthesis of complex information.
- Experience with analytical and computing tools.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
- Project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
