**Force Inspection Services** is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry.  Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.

Reporting to the Machining Supervisor, the Labourer will support the direct initiatives of the Supervisor or designate in ensuring all material is properly handled and assist in any of the machining operations. This role will require the knowledge of using tools, be physically capable of moving parts around the shop, and housekeeping.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assists Lathe Operators with any dressing or movement of parts.
- Knowledge and ability to use various hand tools and power tools.
- General housekeeping to ensure safe and clean work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- 6 months’ experience in a Labour environment is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is an asset.
- Forklift ticket is an asset.
- H2S ticket, First Aid Training and WHIMS 2015 are assets.
- Strong English reading and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong detail orientation: values accuracy and has high standards around quality of work.
- Process thinker, with high degree of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely and effective fashion.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Jib crane or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Experience using a Band Saw is an asset.

**Special Conditions**
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to meet pre-employment testing requirements (i.e., drug and alcohol, physical fitness, audiogram and vision testing).
- Ability to work in outdoor Canadian temperatures (-25 degrees to +30 degrees).
- Able to work overtime and do shift work.
