**Chief Financial Officer**

Reporting to the COO & CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing finance and accounting, developing financial policies, practices, systems, and procedures for the company.

As lead of the accounting team the position's responsibilities can include:

- Monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Intercompany transactions
- Account reconciliation reviews and preparation of the consolidated financial statements
- Management and control of cash flow
- Investment strategies
- Capital acquisitions
- Foreign exchange risk
- Lead & mentor a team of five
- Assist & advise with tax planning
- Review financial contracts, agreements, insurance policies and employee group benefits plans for all locations
- Maintain the chart of accounts, recommending updates and changes
- Internal audits (payroll, benefit etc)
- Purchasing strategies
- Assist in the optimization of new and existing Accounting & ERP systems and platforms
- Liaise with various internal and external customers including tax authorities, banks, employees and others to deliver on time and accurate information
- External review requests, including preparation & review of supporting year end schedules & liason with the oustide accountants
- Provide support to the HR department
- Various other job-related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.

**Skills, Experience and Education**
- CPA accounting designation and membership in good standing of a Canadian professional accounting association
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role of an accounting team
- Public accounting, tax planning experience.

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
