Psychometrist

**Psychometrist - Youth Justice Assessment Team**

London Family Court Clinic is looking for a **Psychometrist** to join our Youth Justice Assessment Team. This team provides court assessment services for high-risk and high-needs adolescents (aged 12 to 18) who have been charged under the YCJA.

**Qualifications**:

- Some experience as a Psychometrist is required
- Understanding of child and adolescent psychometric tools and techniques.
- Strong writing skills and competency in writing detailed Biopsychosocial assessment reports.
- Experience working with youth and an understanding of adolescent development and mental health
- Ability to occasionally work flexible hours
- A valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable car

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer and score a variety of standardized psychological tests (cognitive, personality, behavioral).
- Assist in the interpretation and integration of test results into comprehensive psychological reports.
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and other professionals on the Youth Justice team to develop recommendations
- Write detailed Biopsychosocial assessment reports to provide a holistic understanding of each youth’s needs
- Maintain accurate records of assessment procedures and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
- Provide feedback on assessment results to team members, clients, and their families where appropriate.
- Manage test measures and stay up to date with developments in psychometrics and youth assessment best-practices
