KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Always ensure the highest safety standards when conducting any business on the Roquette site
- Manage a team of Automation Technicians and coordinate interdepartmental priorities
- Partner with third party vendors and assist them in completing Roquette initiatives
- Develop budgets and resource lists for projects considered within the department
- Adhere to best practices ensuring the site is protected from all cyber security threats
- Contribute to strategy on preventative and reactive maintenance programs
- Collaborate with all internal and external partners on each project within the facility
- Deliver status reports to the leadership group in a timely fashion
- Fiscal management of all costs within the department
- Leverage continuous improvement opportunities and always be exploring process improvement

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field such as Instrumentation, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in automation within an industrial plant or similar environment
- Full understanding of computer functionality and internal software used in fully automated manufacturing plants
- Experience with Foxboro or Schneider systems is preferred.
- Proven success managing large installation projects in a related setting
- 3 years’ experience leading and developing a team of Automation Technicians
- Experience in developing budgets for large equipment within an industrial facility
- Experience in food, chemical, feed, or oil industries is preferred
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is encouraged
- Successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - able to achieve influence without authority
