We are assisting **our client** in finding a highly motivated Recruiter/HR Generalist this will be instrumental in shaping their company culture and building a strong team to satisfy their exponential growth.
**Our client** specializes in the transportation of containers to and from rail yards, steamship lines, freight forwarders and distribution centres within the Greater Toronto Area. They are located in Mississauga (401 and Dixie).
**Responsibilities**:
- Full cycle recruitment including:
- Build partnerships with hiring managers at all levels, impacting and influencing them on best practices for hiring
- Ensure an efficient and effective hiring process is being followed
- Create job offers and manage negotiations
- Develop, recommend, and implement HRIS and/or ATS to develop an efficient recruitment and retention process
- Provide communication and training to management and staff related to recruitment and selection and retention programs.
- Provide guidance and advice to management and staff on recruitment and selection issues.
- Support the management team in planning efforts related to staffing levels and requirements.
- Develop and maintain Recruitment and Selection policies and procedures to meet the requirements and to conform to employment legislation
- Develop an orientation, onboarding, training process to ensure new employees are well informed allowing them a greater success to fulfill their job requirements
- Organize and participate in career fairs
- Manage the data/metrics associated with recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on applicants is available for analysis.
Other HR Support Activities:
- Participate and support Human Resources projects
- Advise and make recommendations to managers on best practices, human rights legislation and all other relevant legislations pertaining to HR best practices
- Develop, maintain, and update job descriptions on a periodic basis
- Conduct exit interviews and reported trends to management
**Qualifications**:
- At least 2 years of full cycle recruitment experience within logistics, warehouse, and corporate roles.
- Understanding and recognizing the importance of client service and being dedicated to the success of a team
- Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Well-organized, flexible, and creative in managing large workloads and shifting priorities
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) combined with strong MS Office skills- Thank you in advance for your interest. _
