Attendant (Filler Operator), Production

Overview of the role:
You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for set up, start up and the operation of filling equipment, includes caser/stacker area, accurate and timely completion of documentation and good housekeeping that meet food safety requirement.

Schedule: Sun to Wed 15:15-1:45

Salary: $23.38

Full-time only : There are salary increases every 6 months up until 36 months of service.

How you will make contributions that matter:

- Ensure case supply to caser equipment and conveyers are properly working
- Input and receive data from computer terminal
- Maintain quality control checks of codes, seals and weights
- Regular cleaning of associated work area and equipment operated
- Report mechanical failures and repair minor breakdowns
- Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

- Grade 12 education
- Mechanically inclined
- Working knowledge in food or dairy environment
- Forklift Licensed preferred
- Basic computer knowledge would be an asset
- Must be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment
- A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone
- Can easily assume additional responsibility as required
- Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
