**Overview**

This is a distinctive position, providing a rare opportunity for a “hybrid” role that includes both marketing and sales (support)/business development. Working for a diversified multi-sector firm means you will get to learn about the key industries that drive the Manitoba economy, including agribusiness, real estate, construction, finance & insurance, health care, technology, manufacturing, natural resources, and government.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator, Digital Lead Generation & Business Development to join our team. In addition to individual responsibilities, you will be key team member who will collaborate directly with the Director of Business Development & Client Relations, the Manager, Marketing & Business Development, the Digital Marketing Specialist and the Marketing Coordinator, Communications & Events. Your position is a “link” between marketing and business development, serving the internal needs of the firm’s lawyers and external clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

While marketing and business development are separate functions, these two revenue generation areas are “two halves of a whole” and need to work collaboratively for the benefit of clients, the firm and individual lawyers.

Members of the team with business development responsibilities have a more of a “client facing” role, while marketing team members play more of a “behind the scenes” role. The marketing team has responsibilities for the brand image of the firm through the firm’s website, social media platforms and other marketing initiatives designed for lead generation.

This position will be responsible for aspects of the following areas:

- Marketing Lead Generation.
- Assisting the Marketing and Business Development department with campaigns and events.
- Business development, including retention of business with existing clients, expanding business with existing clients and acquisition of new clients (providing support to the Director of Business Development & Client Relations, including research on prospective clients).
- Tracking, analyzing, reporting and optimizing online metrics related to lead generation.
- Social media management.
- Assist with marketing collateral, such as social media copy, graphics, printed and online collateral, etc.
- Preparing and reporting marketing and business development KPIs.
- Optimize content on the website for search engine optimization (SEO).
