Le Département est composé d’une équipe de 25 professeures et professeurs qui encadrent environ 475 étudiantes et étudiants dont 125 aux cycles supérieurs. Le Département propose des programmes aux 1er, 2e et 3e cycles en biologie ainsi qu’un programme de doctorat en océanographie.
Description du poste
Développer, participer et enseigner un ou des cours portant sur l’océanographie biologique;
Développer un programme de recherche original portant sur l’océanographie biologique;
Participer à l’encadrement des étudiants et étudiantes aux trois cycles;
Promouvoir le domaine de l’océanographie biologique;
Participer à la vie de l’Université Laval.
Critères de sélection
Doctorat en sciences biologiques ou dans une discipline connexe.
Formation scientifique et expérience pertinente au domaine de l’océanographie biologique.
Une expérience postdoctorale est souhaitable.
Il ou elle devra de plus démontrer ses aptitudes et son potentiel à l’enseignement universitaire aux trois cycles, à l’encadrement des personnes étudiantes aux cycles supérieurs, et son engagement à l’innovation pédagogique ainsi que sa capacité de communication et d'intégration dans le contexte francophone de l'institution.
