Draftsperson

Makloc is currently seeking the position of **Draftsperson **based out of Nisku, Alberta.

Responsibilities include:

- preparation of drawings for customer approval
- preparation of fabrication drawings for shop purposes
- preparation of material lists, cut lists and panel layouts for building systems.

Qualifications include:

- Graduate of the Engineering Design & Drafting program from an accredited Canadian Technical Institute **(REQUIRED)**:

- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of TEKLA **(REQUIRED)**:

- Experience with Rigid Frame Detailing
- As well as structural steel skids, metal building systems & stairways & handrails
- Solid academic achievement, strong interpersonal skills & commitment
- Works with/understands the Handbook of Steel Construction
