Shipper and Reciever

Able to receive and store items for the Food & Beverage department (primarily) and all other departments as required, in the assigned and appropriate areas. Be familiar with stock rotation and inventory count procedures. Be able to identify and cross-examine invoices for goods received. Must be able to work for an eight (8) hour period (with scheduled breaks) and be willing and available to work flexible shifts. Able to lift up to 49 lbs.
- Perform checks on equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any problems to a supervisor
- Check with team for stock to be brought from the fridge freezer and stock room
- Responsible for receiving and storing goods in the assigned areas with the labels facing outwards and verifying all receiving documentation
- Ensure that the orders are received as per specification and shortages/damages are reported to the Supervisor
- Proper rotation and stocking of food items
- Cleaning and organizing of stock room, china room, freezers and fridges
- Conduct inventories weekly and monthly as requested
- Assist in the Kitchen with cleaning duties
- Maintain a clean safe work environment
- Perform other tasks assigned
- Report loss or theft of company property to management.
