**Job Title: Football Coach/Teacher - Institute of Saskatchewan Football**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive football training programs for various age groups within the institute.
- Coach and mentor young athletes, fostering their skill development, sportsmanship, and passion for the game.
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies to deliver curricular objectives both in-person and potentially remotely or online.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate practice schedules, game strategies, and player development plans. Demonstrate strong abilities to work in a team environment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices, games, and other football-related activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluation to players, helping them to understand areas for improvement and growth.
- Display strong ability to work independently.
- Represent SMF in a professional manner at football events, meetings, and community outreach programs.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in football coaching, incorporating innovative techniques into training programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Saskatchewan Teachers License or ability to obtain one.
- National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Football Coach certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Proven experience coaching football at the professional, university, junior, or national/provincial team level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and staff.
- Experience delivering curricular objectives remotely or online is highly desirable.
- Passion for youth development and fostering a positive team culture.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by practice and game schedules.
- Commitment to upholding the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and respect.
