Public Funding Advisor

**Main responsibilities**:

- Research and understand government programs at different levels of government, develop grant databases (grant monitoring) and update information on grant programs.
- Document the MPA government funding process with a view to continuous improvement (standardizing procedures, coordinating and using resources).
- Identify funding programs that align with MPA activities and present them internally.
- Coordinate and respond to inquiries from officials at various levels of government.
- Monitor projects and provide reporting information.
- Propose performance measures and update internal monitoring tools, including performance management reports and dashboards.
- Assist the Analysis, Planning and Treasury Director with all aspects of government funding.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business/commerce/finance or economics
- Three to five years of relevant experience (e.g., writing evidence, exposure to financial and/or economic problems, project management)
- Good understanding of infrastructure project management
- Excellent knowledge of Office suite
- Exposure to operations and finance is an asset
- Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Excellent time and project management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High level of business integrity and ethics
- Excellent French and English communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience in a constantly changing environment
