Citrus is a boutique children's store located in North Nanaimo. We carry clothing, footwear, toys, and accessories for babies to big kids

Citrus is growing, and we are looking to add 1-2 like-minded individuals to our team to fill hours on **Wednesday afternoons, Thursday's, Friday's & Saturday's**. We are looking for someone interested in children's fashion, kids, and organization.

We have a small team that loves to keep the store meticulously clean and organized for our customers. When our clients are in the store, they get the upmost care and attention. It is important to always be available for our customers but equally important to give them the space they need to enjoy their shopping experience on their own as well.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Upsell products and promote special offers or promotions
- Assist with inventory management and restocking

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of upselling techniques and sales strategies
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to meet customer needs promptly
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
