**Position: Health & Safety Instructor (ESC-certified)**
**Employment: Full-time/Part-time**

**Salary: $75,000 to start (Full-time); $36/hr (Part-time)**

**Worksite Safety **is expanding its instructor-led training team to meet an increasing demand for construction, oil & gas, and manufacturing safety education. If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety instructor who is passionate about keeping workers safe, then this role is for you

As a Worksite Health & Safety Instructor your **key responsibilities** are:

- Delivering engaging and informative training sessions
- Evaluating participants through practical skills and written evaluation
- Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following training
- Providing direction and advisory services to assist clients with health & safety programming and compliance
- Participating in team meetings and instructor development workshops
- ESC Instructor certification in H2S Alive. Other ESC certifications considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience delivering safety training
- 3+ years of field based work experience with exposure to hazardous environments
- Background in construction, oil and gas management and/or occupational health & safety preferred
- Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Ground Disturbance and Confined Space Entry and Rescue experience an asset
- Strong presentation and adult-engagement skills
- Responsible self-starter who can work independently, while also contributing to the instructor team
- Valid Alberta Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Reside and able to legally work in Canada
