Duties:
Customer Service: All aspects of engaging and interacting with our customer base in a friendly and efficient manner while surpassing their expectations. You are the front-line face of our services.

Human Resources: Assist with recruitment, training and coaching of our student staff as well as assisting with performance/attendance management and day to day supervision. Mentoring our team as well as recognizing and developing top performers.

Administrative Duties: Cash handling and completion of daily cash reconciliations. Liaise with suppliers, customers, service providers and key stakeholders. Maintaining tracking forms. Tracking sales data, production sheets, temperature logs etc. Inventory Control and product ordering.

Sales: Recognize and share potential opportunities for sales growth. Ensure our services are welcoming, clean, well stocked, and in “ready for business” condition. Merchandise products in a way that is enticing to our customers. Assist with special events and catering.

Food Service: Assist in catering. Food Preparation and procurement. Inventory control including product rotation, costing/pricing, signage, taking stock, replenishment and shrink management.

Health and Safety: Follow and enforce best practices in Food Safety. Monitor equipment and potential occupational health and safety concerns and report them to the manager. Uphold a high level of cleanliness within our services.

**Requirements**:

- A friendly and enthusiastic disposition in fitting with our work culture.
- The ability to work with a team of students, consisting of different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
- Background in retail services. Supervisory experience an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Sales experience and a flair for merchandising.
- Food Service experience (very comfortable in a kitchen setting)
- Food Handler’s Safety Certificate an asset.
- Ability to act quickly and resolve problems in an efficient manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, considered an asset.
- The ability to stand for lengthy periods in warm conditions (kitchen setting)

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
