**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Durham College is seeking an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Program Advisor in the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Reporting to the Director, Equity Diversity and Inclusion, the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Program Advisor, supports and advances the College’s commitment to practices of equity, diversity, and inclusion. The incumbent plans, designs, develops, and implements strategies and programs to build an inclusive and respectful learning and working environment. The Advisor is responsible for analyzing human rights trends across the College, conducting evaluations, and engaging in data tracking processes to assess the impact of the Office’s EDI initiatives. The Program Advisor works collaboratively with internal stakeholders advising on issues related to EDI and anti-racism and provides consultative support on Human Rights related concerns.

In addition, the incumbent is responsible for administering and responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders to create pathways to post-secondary for marginalized communities. Lead and coordinate programs/events that address access and transitional issues. Engage in data tracking, implementation of programs, program evaluations, and preparing reports for the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. Develops marketing and promotional content for recruitment and outreach materials.

Additionally, the incumbent will possess strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. The incumbent must understand and value confidentiality, trust, customer service, diplomacy, and professionalism. An understanding of college processes and organizational structure would be an asset.
