**Overview of the Role**:
The Effort Trust Company is currently looking to hire a **Residential Leasing Administrator** to join our team at our Head Office location in Hamilton, Ontario. You will be responsible for general lease-related administrative duties and offering support to the Leasing & Marketing Department.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Review completed lease documents and addendums for accuracy prior to entry in web based software (Yardi).
- Create and update new tenant files.
- Process "notices to vacate" and prepare tenant files to be closed.
- Distribute applicable vacate letters.
- Distribute applicable suite turn-over budget sheets.
- Draft and issue lease amendments.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and roll out for online leasing and scheduling tools.
- Assist with training sessions alongside the Marketing Analyst outlining online appointment booking and online leasing tools to site staff.
- Work collaboratively with Property Managers and Administrators to develop processes that will continually improve on the accurate and complete preparation of the leasing packages.
- Develop and maintain statistical reporting on turnover and other leasing related data.
- Provide back-up for Marketing Analyst during vacation or other absences.
- Provide support to the Property Administration Department, as needed.
- Additional tasks as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
- Excellent customer service focus, coupled with superior planning, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel & Word.
- Experience in residential property management and familiarity with relevant legislation (Residential Tenancies Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, Privacy laws) preferred.
- Experience in residential leasing administration.
- In person role (remote or hybrid not available).
- Must read and write English fluently.
- Post secondary education.
- Flexible team player with the capability to operate independently.
