Our client in the energy sector is seeking a skilled Quality Control Coordinator to join their Calgary team for 8+ months. If you enjoy providing QC support and want to interact with all departments to ensure that quality expectations are met and exceeded we would love to hear from you

**Responsibilities include**:

- Compiling or pre-populating documents.
- Compiling final documents for the MRB’s to be issued with the completed packages.
- Maintaining excel logs and scanning and filing all job-related documents, both PDF and hard copies.
- Plan, organize, schedule, and maintain the activities including inspections of products, supporting the needs of internal departments and customers.
- Prepare quality documentation packages; verify that all QC forms and quality records are completed and acceptable for Code and customer requirements.
- A hands-on approach, maintain close contact and cooperate with the Warehouse Operations Team (Shipping and Receiving).
- Work with customers to respond to defects and test failures by recommending corrective action and ensuring the execution of the corrective action.
- 2+ year's experience in Quality Control or an interest in QC with administrative experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledgeable of QC documents such as ITP’s, code related data reports (AB-83, AB-25, AB-25a etc.), Fabrication Codes, MTR’s including chemical analysis, and a general understanding of fabrication drawings and ISO’s would be an asset.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a self-starter.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong skills in spreadsheet, data processing, and reporting metrics.
