Overview:
**Duties**:
1. Editing E-learning Video Lab Sessions and Lectures:

- Edit video lab sessions and lectures to create engaging and informative educational content
- Ensure coherence, clarity, and instructional effectiveness through thoughtful editing techniques

2. Managing Sound Quality:

- Oversee sound quality throughout the production process, ensuring clear and crisp audio
- Utilize audio editing software to enhance voice clarity, remove background noise, and balance audio levels

3. Video Tranistion Management:

- Create seamless transitions between different sections of the video content to maintain flow and engagement
- Incorporate visual effects and animations to enhance understanding and emphasize key concepts
- Ensure consistent branding and style guidelines are followed across all video materials

4. Expertise in Camtasia Recording Software:

- Utilize Camtasia Recording software proficiently for capturing, editing, and producing high -quality video content
- Leverage advanced features of Camtasia to enhance video clarity, add annotations, and optimize workflow efficiency
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in Camtasia to maximize the impact of our educational content

5. Background in Music Editing or Production:

- Leverage musical or editing background to enhance the overall production quality of the video content
- Collaborate with composers or musicians to create original music or soundscapes for our educational materials

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Audio Engineering, Music Production, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly in the context of e-learning or educational content creation.
- Proficiency in Camtasia Recording software and other relevant video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of sound quality principles and techniques, with hands-on experience in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools).
- Background in music editing, production, or composition is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality while meeting deadlines.
- Passion for education and a commitment to creating impactful learning experiences through multimedia content.

Location: This position is based in 705 Progress Ave., Scarborough, On but open to remote work.
