Experienced Kitchen Cabinet Installer

**Now Hiring: Skilled Kitchen Cabinet Installer.** Join our team Vanway Kitchen + Bath is looking for an experienced cabinet installer in Terrace, BC to install fine wood cabinetry in homes in Terrace and the surrounding area. _**Note: this is a sub-contractor position.**_

**Here's what we'll need you to do**:

- Provide your own tools and transportation
- Be punctual and professional with scheduled installs
- Travel to assigned homes and measure their spaces
- Understand and interpret plans and drawings
- Suggest changes to their proposed plans if needed
- Install custom cabinetry accurately according to plan
- Tidy up at the customer's job site for a good impression
- Repair a wide range of issues during service calls

- Are experienced with cabinets, trim, moulding, etc
- Can measure with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong ability to understand plans and blueprints
- Are well-versed in cabinet trends, building codes

- Have exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Take pride in completing a job to the highest standard
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of safety principles

**Our must-have requirements include**:

- 5 years of proven experience with cabinets and finishing
- Physically capable of standing, kneeling, bending, lifting, reaching
- Able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs) on a regular basis
- Hands on experience using tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
- Willing to work extended hours and travel when needed
