Associate Insurance Advisor

**The Opportunity**

Battle River Insurance Ltd / The Co-operators, in Ponoka is looking for an Associate Insurance Advisor who will specialize in Farm Insurance and Farm Automobile Insurance. Our Associate Insurance Advisors are insurance professionals trained in client service, sales, and provide the highest level of service available anywhere in the industry. The Associate Insurance Advisor is a key player in the support and development of the Agency and may provide support for Home Insurance, Auto Insurance, Farm Insurance, Commercial Insurance, and Travel Insurance. The Associate Insurance Advisor has an important role in helping our clients identify needs for Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Wealth products.

**Your Qualifications**
- General Insurance License is required or be obtained within two months
- Sales and service experience or related business experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry is an asset
- Knowledge of auto and property insurance products is an asset
- Skilled in verbal & written communication, organization, time management, client service, decision making

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Develop and adhere to rigid time management goals
- Identify cross sell opportunities
- Support development of the agency through the sales and profitable growth of farm insurance and farm auto insurance products.
- Support the growth of the life insurance, group insurance, disability insurance, and wealth management portfolio of the agency by identifying referral opportunities
- Proactively complete client reviews focusing on farm insurance and farm auto insurance products
- Achieve individual goals for client service, growth, and productivity
- Contribute to the achievement of the Agency Team sales and growth goals
- Develop annual marketing plans outlining strategies and activities to meet goals in each product area of responsibility
- Respond to and investigate client questions and concerns, resolve client complaints, and escalate issues appropriately
- Support the agency team in their daily activities
