**About RISC**:RISC Inc. is a national real estate finance insurance risk management consulting firm, and Canada’s leading advisor on property insurance strategy and mortgage resolution and recovery services. Founded in 2008, RISC has complemented the Canadian real estate finance sector with a more modern, comprehensive and tailored set of solutions focused on insurance risk management. Based in Toronto, RISC focuses on protecting mortgage lenders across Canada by providing consulting services on residential and commercial property transactions and developments. At our core, we are problem-solvers, strategists and solution producers on the increasingly complex topics of real estate, finance and insurance risk management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
▪ Perform detailed real estate insurance appraisals on commercial & residential property loan transactions
▪ Manage, track and collect necessary property insurance information for loan portfolios throughout Canada
▪ Communicate regularly with real estate finance institutions, real estate investors/developers, insurance brokers
▪ Develop relationships in the real estate finance, investment, development and property insurance communities
▪ Maintain an understanding of real estate activity and insurance risks throughout Canada

**Job Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:
▪ University degree in a related discipline
▪ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional office environment
▪ Experience or knowledge of insurance fundamentals is considered an asset
▪ Experience or knowledge of commercial real estate sector(s) is considered an asset

**Qualifications**:
▪ Advanced computer literacy, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
▪ Detail oriented and focused on accuracy
▪ Superior organizational and time management skills
▪ Well-developed interpersonal skills
▪ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
▪ Proactive and takes initiative
▪ Ability to work in French is an asset

**Compensation**:We offer a competitive compensation package; you will be rewarded based on your performance and appreciated for the value that you bring to the RISC Team.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4N 3N1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- commercial insurance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)
