- **Job Title**:_ QA Automation Engineer
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Own, plan, design and develop test automation strategy for our mobile app, web, and backend services. Create test plans and test scenarios together with the dev team and manual QA team to identify edge cases that could jeopardize the quality of our product
- Perform test cases and work with engineers to correct and sign off as the quality owner. You will contribute to the quality standards, monitor and escalate issues
- Perform exploratory testing and identify test automation opportunities. You will spend half of your time building automation frameworks and improving the existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure
- Coach and influence engineering culture to be test-driven
- Mentor manual QA on test automation topics
- **Requirements**:_
- 3+ years of experience in developing and documenting test automation strategy
- Strong programming experience with Java and Python, experience using Appium and Cucumber.
- Strong programming experience with Java and/or Dart/TypeScript, as well as experience using Appium, Cucumber, flutter_test, golden test, and Jest. Experience in Dart/Flutter testing frameworks (flutter_test and golden test) and TypeScript/Jest would be a strong advantage
- Experience in building automation frameworks and writing reliable and maintainable automated tests
- Experience with web, mobile or server platforms and have a superb understanding of and ability to troubleshoot the testing ecosystem
- Track record of improving efficiency, especially through automation
- Experience in working with other teams, such as engineering and product
- Passion for learning, especially through looking at new processes and tools that have a significant impact on engineering teams
