Grant Writer

**Are you an experienced Grant Writer who wants to work with growing non-profit organization that is committed to making a difference in the communities that we serve?**

Our Grant Writer will work in a hybrid setting - both home and the Community Services offices and is a part-time position of approximately 300 hours per year.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Prepare quality grant proposals in a timely manner;
- Research and identify grants and funding opportunities or partnerships available;
- Develop a list of projects for future grant funding;
- Submit reports to granting organizations during and following the completion of projects;
- Liaise with outside organizations on grant and funding opportunities;
- Liaise with grant organizations when requested.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education, Training and Experience**
- Suitable academic qualifications and relevant experience working in fund development;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a writing position, grant writing preferred
- Experience working in a not-for-profit environment preferred;
- Strong communication and computer skills are required;
- Must be self-motived, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week

**Salary**: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
