**Overview**
Established in 1999, Becker Keating and Young Technologies (BKY) provides MSP and Software development services throughout Alberta. We are specifically looking for a Business Analyst in the greater Edmonton area.

In this position, you will merge your outstanding client service skills with your enthusiasm for business intelligence and creative problem-solving. Driven by intellectual curiosity, you'll empower individuals across the organization to tackle challenges, discover efficiencies, and adopt innovative approaches, ultimately facilitating more informed decision-making through a deeper understanding of the data you provide.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Provide direct support and empowerment to users through data visualization and reporting tools.
- A strong understanding on data management.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Showcase the ability to liaise between non-technical and technical business units.
- Assist and mentor teams in using data, analytics & visualizations effectively and guide them to access the correct information.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions.
- Generate detailed designs, requirements and solutions documentation.
- Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Coordinate cross-functional project tasks to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Where needed, provide managers with detailed reporting on their volumes and frequent issues.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for business process updates.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to implement and refine technology solutions that support and advance business operations.
- Write database queries and create reports as needed for various data conversion processes
- Enthusiasm and high comfort level with innovation and change related to technology and systems.

- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT, Public or Business Administration, or other majors with proven experience.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required with the ability to provide excellent customer service, troubleshooting for problem resolution, and communication skills. Must possess the ability to perform complex end to end solution delivery and maintenance.
- Advanced written and verbal communication, and experience facilitating group training sessions is a strong asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and complex consulting environment and with multi-technology solutions including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, ERP or LMS systems, and Windows.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong research, planning and execution skills.
- Reporting and data interpretation experience.
- Excellent negotiation, problem solving, as well as conflict management and resolution skills
- Articulate and proficient public speaking skills with the ability to host and deliver presentations to clients, explain trends gathered from data.
- Intermediate expertise with Crystal Reports
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Hire is dependent on a Criminal Records Check satisfactory.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
