**THE POSITION**:
We are seeking a full-time **House Coordinator** with a robust medical knowledge background and significant experience working with non-verbal individuals. Proficiency in G-Tube feeding is essential for this role. The House Coordinator will be responsible for managing the operations of the home, supervising support staff, overseeing the clients’ support needs and assisting in the development and delivery of programs and services for our clients.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Residential Home.
- Provide nutritional planning, personal hygiene and medical assistance to the clients in their home.
- Manage the expenditures, groceries, petty cash and client’s personal funds.
- Provide direction, support and coordination of services for staff, clients and families including planning, prioritizing and monitoring staff activities.
- Participate in the care and development of the clients.
- Provide support and training for staff regarding the support of clients in their home.
- Identify and analyze issues of concern and assess the need for intervention.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records on both client and their home.
- Plan and carry out house meetings, monthly staff schedules and arrange relief staff as required.
- Participate in team meetings, in-service training, educational development, and client conferences and review process.
- Identify and analyze potential risks to clients and staff in the community.
- Support individuals in identifying and meeting their identified goals.
- Authorize staff timesheets and assist in the maintenance of records i.e. vacation request etc.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of all house programs.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Manage changing priorities as they arise.
- Maintain a professional attitude and adhere to the principles of confidentiality.
- Ensure operations of the home are performed according to policy and procedures and principles.
- Represent and advocate on OPTIONS’ behalf in a positive manner.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:

- A degree or diploma in Rehabilitation or Social Sciences.
- 3 to 5 year’s related experience (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Experience working with individuals with a developmental disability
- Basic understanding of supervisory leadership.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:

- Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C; Medication Administration Course
- Positive Behavior Support Course; Abuse Protocol Course; CPI Training
- Police Security Check and Intervention Record Check
- Valid Drivers License with Proof of Valid Insurance and $2million 3rd party liability
