**Kidz KlubHouse Summer Camp** is a fun, exciting, and memorable day camp for children (4 to 8 years of age) made up of a wide range of programming that gives campers opportunities to experience different activities.

Our summer camp will run from July 8 to August 23, 2024, for a total of 7 weeks. We are currently looking for a Camp Supervisor who can commit, full-time, to 7 consecutive weeks.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Oversees operations of a camp including programs and activities planned by camp staff
- Providing lead supervision during outdoor and indoor activities
- Manages and motivates a team of staff
- Provide staff with immediate feedback when performance issues and good work are observed
- Ensures the safety and supervision of campers and staff
- Documents and collects on-site camp photos and administrative paperwork
- Responsible for the documentation and administration of medication to participant(s) as outlined in our medication policy
- Acts as a liaison between director and camp staff
- Communicates regularly with the director
- Ensures all staff adhere to policies and procedures including dress code
- Resolves any problems that arise at camp (camper, staff, program or facility related)
- Supervising and being visible in all aspects of the camp setting - daily sign in/sign out, set-up/takedown, ensuring program supplies/equipment are set up and put away daily

**Qualifications of ALL camp staff**
- Minimum of two (2) years camp programing or related child/youth programing experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative.
- Able to adapt to changing environments and situations with quick thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and positive attitude.
- Professional demeanor towards all campers, parents and staff.
- Available and committed to working full-time, Monday to Friday, for 7 consecutive weeks total (July 8 to August 23, 2024).
- Complete a valid and recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check (no older than 6 months) at your own expense prior to the start of employment.
- Provide or obtain a valid and current Standard First Aid & CPR, level C, certificate at your own expense prior to the start of employment.
- Participate in mandatory paid staff training at the beginning of July 2024.
