Powerline Technician

Uens Poleline is searching for qualified Powerline Technicians to join our Storm Restoration Division. We have an immediate need for Journeyman Powerline Technicians and or Powerline Technician Apprentices (Minimum 3rd Term).

We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Powerline Technician to join our team on a occasional/ on-call basis for Storm Restoration work within Canada and the USA. As a Journeyman Powerline Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of electrical power systems. This position requires a strong technical background, a dedication to safety, and the ability to work in diverse environments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install and repair electrical power systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of power distribution equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute powerline projects.
- Operate specialized equipment, tools, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly to restore power and address electrical issues.
- Adhere to local utility's safety policies and procedures at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyman Powerline Technician Red Seal certification (434A)
- Valid AZ/DZ Drivers License
- Valid Passport
- Extensive experience in powerline construction, maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Location**:
The position involves work in both Canada and the USA. Flexibility in terms of location and travel is essential.
