The Regional Employee Relations Manager is responsible for the management of Human Resources day-to-day operations within their assigned region. The Manager will provide advice and guidance to a designated client group in such areas as recruitment, performance management, employee and labour relations, health and safety, disability management, compensation and training.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Direct management of team whose responsibilities include, recruitment and selection, health and safety and administrative functions. The team will be responsible for delivery of orientation and training.

As part of the National Human Resources team the Regional Human Resources Manager works closely on national projects and initiatives which include the development of policy, procedures, and training for each HR functional area. The Manager is responsible for aligning the practices within their region and client group.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Post-Secondary - Human Resource Management Diploma
- 5 -8 years’ experience in an HR Generalist, Advisor or Manager role
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of leading edge HR practices

**PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES**:

- Demonstrated leadership, confidence and professionalism
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills and the ability to deal with competing priorities
- Very strong interaction/people skills with ability to motivate and coach and lead change
- Experience in Labour Relations, considered an asset
- Excellent written and oral English (French where required)
