Founded in 1926, The Oakdale Golf & Country Club Ltd., is widely recognized as one of Canada's finest private golf and country clubs. Oakdale's membership community enjoys a world class 27-hole Stanley Thompson designed championship golf course, a beautiful clubhouse, exquisite dining facilities, swimming pool and tennis courts. Oakdale is a not-for-profit organization with a membership of approximately 1,600 members

**Job Summary**

Starters are responsible for the order and management of tee times, pace of play, and are to ensure golf course policies, rules and regulations including dress code are adhered to. Starters are also in charge of ensuring all Guests, carts, and power caddy rentals are charged accurately though our point-of-sale system.
- Manage tee times for the day including updating the tee sheet where required
- Accurately charge Members for greens fees, cart fees and power caddy rentals
- Provide professional assistance and information to golfers as required
- Provide tees, pencils, scorecards, towels, and divot repair tools to golfers

**Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications**
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Customer service experience
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team
- Computer experience and an understanding of golf an asset
- First aid, CPR, and use of AED an asset
- Full training provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6-7 months

Pay: From $17.05 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
