Early Childhood Educator

The Hungry Hippo is currently seeking 2 full time individuals to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the physical, emotional, and social development of children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years. Understanding the importance of our role and how it impacts and/or influences development.
- To observe, record and communicate individual child development.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and co-workers.
- Be an equally participating member of the team.

We welcome students and apprentices of the ECE program and provide opportunities for financial support to start or complete the program. We offer reduced childcare rates to staff needing childcare. All required program supplies and materials are provided at no cost, staff are not responsible to purchase or supply program material. First Aid recertifications are provided at no cost to employees.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
