Maintenance Worker

As a Maintenance Worrker you will report to the Manager - Facilities. Maintenance Worker provides a wide range of building maintenance, ground keeping and other support services as needed.
**What does your typical day look like?**
- Ensuring that buildings and grounds are safe and functional (clear entrances, walkways and driveways);
- Performing preventive building maintenance duties;
- Perform routine care (fixing water leaks, change light bulbs paint and repair walls, plaster, drywall, woodwork, etc.);
- Perform various seasonal tasks (setting holiday decoration and exterior furniture;
- Performing moves and setting up workstations;
- Performing numerous other support services such as making routine deliveries (heavy parcels, water bottles and paper boxes) and assisting in the preparation of various activities and events (set up chairs, tables and tableware);
- Monitor Compliance with corporate parking policy;
- Assemble and move furniture;
- Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather;
- There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.

**What skills and experience are we looking for?**
- High school diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Valid driver’s license with access to vehicle;
- Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and techniques;
- Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of buildings;
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions;
- Able to work under mínimal supervision, either alone or as a team;
- Resourceful and able to resolve problems;
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
