Medical Transcriptionist

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Listen to recorded dictation from Radiologists and transcribe them into written reports. Modalities include ultrasound and radiology reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of transcribed reports.
- Proofread documents for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all legal requirements regarding medical records.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently.
- Identify and follow up on inconsistencies, errors and missing information in a timely manner.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience (at least 2+ years) in the medical transcription field; preferably with radiology reports.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Familiarity with Radiant is preferred.
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
