Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential and commercial settings. Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will ensure high-quality tile installations.

**Duties**:

- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, or adhesive
- Cut tiles using hand tools or tile saws to fit around obstacles and create desired patterns
- Align and straighten tiles using levels, squares, and straightedges
- Install tile trim and edge pieces for a finished look
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of tiles and their installation techniques
- Proficient in reading blueprints and following specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with carpentry and maintenance person skills is a plus

**Skills**:

- Carpenter skills for building or repairing subfloors, walls, or other surfaces as needed
- Caulking skills for sealing gaps between tiles or along edges
- Maintenance Person skills for general repairs or maintenance tasks
- Tile laying expertise for precise tile installation
- Blueprint reading ability to interpret design plans accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools required for tile installation
- Flooring installation knowledge for working with different flooring materials

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
