**Position Overview**: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Childcare Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing our family day home agency operations, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations, and maintaining high standards of home-based childcare.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the day home agency, including recruitment, training, and supervision of childcare consultants and day home educators.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with day home educators, families, provincial licensing officers, and community partners.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and standards set by provincial authorities.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops for day home educators.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by day home educators.
- Act as a resource and support for day home educators, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to day home operations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Family Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in childcare, education or social work settings, including at least five years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Alberta "Level 3" Early Childhood Educator certification, or eligibility for certification.
- Knowledge of Alberta childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain and foster a positive “heart and mind” workplace culture where excellence, collaboration, and personal and professional development can thrive.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- (Financial management and marketing experience an asset.)
