A Shakers Service Technician is responsible for equipment testing, repairs, dismantling, assembling, and other duties associated with the service center. They perform the necessary tests per acceptable/applicable procedures and specifications for various tools, completes test documentation and reports. Will be required to occasionally travel regionally for short periods of time where work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and is physically demanding.

**Essential Job Responsibilities**:

- Service, test, repair, assemble and/or dismantle shakers, parts, and screens in the shop and/or on site as required;
- Rebuild equipment as required;
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and problem solve electrical and mechanical issues as they arise
- Diagnose problems and advise operators on how to properly maintain equipment
- May be required to deliver hotshot requests and install equipment on site;
- Adhere to all NOV policies and procedures (vehicle, safety, correspondence);
- Maintain housekeeping on a daily basis to ensure a safe and clean work area;
- Communicate to the Supervisor any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns;
- Be on-call when required;
- Maintain records of services performed;
- Represent NOV in a professional manner at all times;
- Upon supervisor request, you will be required to work in the field occasionally;
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualification Requirements **_**(Minimum Education and Experience)**_**:

- **No experience required**:

- Clean drivers abstract
- Partial high school education with the ability to read, write, and speak English
- Problem solving abilities

**Technical Requirements (**_**software or program knowledge needed**_**)**:

- H2S, Standard First Aid;
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.

**HSE Requirements **_**(Training and Physical Requirements)**:_
- Shop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid & eyewash stations, spill kits, propane storage) and yard environment (building locations, processes);
- Standing, walking, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking (further details to be reviewed on JHA);
- Office environment;
- Ergonomic training;
- Training on proper usage of PPE if exposed to noise, dust and fumes.
