**Your work environment at EXP
**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Independently conduct Petrographic analysis per MTO LS-609 / 616 and ASTM C295/C856.
- Independently conduct Air Voids analysis in hardened concrete.
- Comply with all the QA/QC requirements specified in the ASTM and MTO-LS Test Methods.
- Logging and entering sample test results in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System.
- Strictly adhere to Turnaround Time Requirements.
- Participate in MTO’s correlation testing.
- Communicate with the Lab Manager any discrepancies in sample test requirements etc., immediately.
- Maintain and update all QA/QC documentation as required by CCIL.

**What your experience looks like**
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or equivalent.
- Current CCIL Certification for Petrographic analysis.
- Independently prepare, analyze and report Petrography reports per MTO LS-609/616.
- Must have successfully participated in MTO’s correlation testing for Petrography and Air Voids in hardened concrete for at least 2 years.
- Strong computer and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent rock and mineral identification skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to excellent service and technical excellence.
- MUST have access to a vehicle and a valid Class G Driver’s License.
- Ability to work overtime (including weekends) if required.
