Responsible for assisting with the implementation and effective operation of the Carfair Quality Assurance program. This position will require interface with both internal and external customers.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Be the visible first point of contact on-site at our customer's facilities.
- Build and maintain front line customer contacts and relationships to aid in root cause analysist of issues.
- Investigates issues and report back to the Carfair facility.
- Collect objective data to confirm validity of issues / effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Coordinate on-site rework as required and oversee the quality of the rework.
- Participate in daily Production and cell log meetings providing any support needed from a QA standpoint.
- Interact with manufacturing and leadership teams to communicate issues and work through problem resolutions. Gain feedback and suggestions for continuous improvements.
- Perform Internal Audits as scheduled.
- Drive and sustain all elements of the Carfiar Operational Excellence program (OpEx) within your assigned group, with a strong focus on 5S as it's foundation, as elements of this program are introduced.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- College diploma or university degree, and / or equivalent experience would be preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years previous work experience in a manufacturing management environment.
- Minimum one (1) year previous work experience in a Quality department position.
- ASQ Certification(s) desired.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management tools would be asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, with focus on MS Office (Word/Excel).
- Experience working in a unionized environment considered as asset.
- Able to travel around Winnipeg during work hours; must have access to a vehicle.
