**The Opportunity**:
The Regina Leader-Post is seeking a full-time Digital Editor who will lead our digital operations and strategy. Excellent leadership qualities and a knowledge of online news presentation are required, as well as the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced multimedia news environment.
**What you’ll do**:
- Management of the newsroom’s digital operations, including website, newsletters and social media channels.
- Use of website analytics to inform newsroom decision making.
- Innovating new ideas to bring stories, photos and video to audiences across digital platforms.
- Acts as the digital lead for the newsroom in chain-wide meetings and training.
- Training other newsroom employees on digital platforms and content management systems.
**Who you are**:
- Experience at a daily news organization in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Fluency in digital platforms, multimedia journalism and social media.
- Ability to work quickly and independently, meet multiple deadlines, and make efficient decisions.
- Ability to work constructively as part of a newsroom team.
