Oil Burner Assistant

Bridgewater, Canada West Nova & Superline Fuels Full time

Assist in the routine maintenance of oil burners, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed
- Collaborate with the Oil Burner Mechanic in troubleshooting, inspecting, and installing oil heating systems
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Cooperate with other technicians and professionals to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

**Please note: This may potentially become a dual role of Oil Burner Assistant and Oil Delivery Driver. If possible, we would look to hire an individual who can fulfill both roles.**

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 5 License with Drivers Abstract in good standing
- Preference given to individuals with previous oil heating and/or propane experience
- Preference given to individuals with a valid driver’s license with Commercial Vehicle Class Rating of 3, 2, or 1, with air brake endorsement

- High regard for safety

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bridgewater, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Oil Heating or Propane: 1 year (preferred)
- Commercial Driving: 1 year (preferred)
