**Safety Supervisor**

Reporting to the Safety Coordinator the Field Safety Supervisor will develop, implement and monitor field safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, local and client safety regulations. This individual will conduct regular safety audits, inspections and reis assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

Ø 5+ years of proven experience in the safety sector

Ø Previous experience in leadership roles

Ø Exceptional verbal communication skills

Ø Strong time management skills

Ø Detail orientated

Ø Optimistic in high stress situations

Ø Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Safety/TDG regulations

Ø Analytical and problem solving skills

Ø Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ø Travel throughout the service area of our 4 terminals will be necessary.

Ø Field duties will require indoor and outdoor work and interaction with employees, contractors and client personnel.

Ø Work sites may vary throughout each day.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Ø Liaise with Safety Coordinator and Management Team

Ø Act as a main point of contact between field on office personnel on safety related matters

Ø Investigate and resolve incidents

Ø Ensure safety policies are strictly adhered to

Ø Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by administering Company/Customer and Industry safety standards.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Ø Minimum qualifications require relevant certifications and specialized training in areas such as hazard communication and emergency response further augments the qualifications.

Ø Practical experience in safety-related roles.

Ø Must maintain a valid Driver’s License

Ø Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel and Power Point
