We're looking for a videographer/editor who wants to step away from shooting 'bread and butter' content and take a leap into helping us tell the stories of the Construction Industry

We aim to helps to elevate companies' online presence by creating shorter form videos for social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn as well as longer form videos for websites and company-wide use. You will be a huge part in making a difference in these individual companies, as well as the industry as a whole

Marketing is only half of what we do at TruGrit. We also offer Leadership Development coaching and facilitation to help better communication and culture in the workplace. We're setting out to help solve the workforce problem that is so prevalent in the Construction Industry

You're the expert in your field. We'll leave you to do your thing

We see this position as the next exciting step in the growth of TruGrit We think this position might look as follows:
Dylan, one of the owners, frequently visits active jobsites to capture photographs and talk to field personnel. Often, our scope of works includes video and photo. It's hard to capture both forms of content and build relationships with only one person. You would be working closely with Dylan on the jobsite, actively capturing footage, whether that be B-Roll or interviews (talking head). Then, you would head back to your home and begin working your magic

This position has room to grow into a Part-Time -> Full-Time position as we expand

6. Learn how to safely navigate active and busy jobsites.
7. Don't be afraid of hard work.
- **Hard Skills**:_
1. Capture and edit high-quality video footage for various social media platforms and websites.
2. Ensure all videos maintain a consistent visual style
3. Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos using Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other editing software. (ie. DaVinci Resolve)
(It's a plus if you know how to use Adobe After Effects)
4. Create social media content (Reels/YouTube Shorts) for our own Socials (Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn) using footage you have captured.
5. Maintain organized file management and adhere to project timelines

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a videographer/editor
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or DaVinci Resolve (Preferably Adobe, but not necessary)
- Strong understanding of video production principles, techniques, and equipment
- Knowledge of lighting techniques and audio recording setup for optimal video quality
- Familiarity with different video formats and codecs for various platforms (web, social media, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
