**Hospitalist Medicine Opportunity**

Headwaters Health Care Centre is a community hospital operating as an acute and complex continuing care facility, offering both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as an Emergency Department with 24/7 coverage. With over 700 staff and over 160 physicians, the hospital is accredited with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada. Located in Orangeville, Ontario, we are at the heart of medical services for the Greater Dufferin area and other surrounding counties. Our small town offers great opportunities for outdoor recreation, many thriving shops and restaurants, and lots of small-town charm. We are conveniently located one hour from downtown Toronto.
- Permanent positions, as well as part time positions, are available in Orangeville for our GP acute inpatient Hospitalist Program. We are currently a group of 15 Hospitalists with an additional 3 physicians offering occasional coverage. We support a catchment area of 100,000, at a hospital with 86 beds.- The department is well supported by internal medicine who are available 24/7 along with multiple surgical specialties and diagnostic imaging. A separate call group exists to cover chronic care and palliative care patients.
