Coating Superintendent

**Global Fusion Coating Inc** is seeking a Field Coatings Superintendent who will be responsible for managing the Protective coatings operations for a field crew.

**Essential Functions include but are not limited to**:

- Support the maintenance and ongoing improvement of the quality management system in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 (quality plans, monitor equipment calibrations, recording NCRs, etc.)
- Coordinate projects within time and budget constraints satisfying customer and company objectives.
- Have a clear understanding of project scope.
- Clear communication with Project Estimator
- Logistical coordination for all aspects (material, equipment, and contractors) of projects.
- Project schedule creation and maintenance in Microsoft excel.
- Coordinate/prepare submittals, RFIs, material, and training needed for projects based on specifications and customer needs.
- Work closely with managers to ensure optimum efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and track project costs, review and compare to budget. This may include tasks such as reviewing invoices, purchase orders, and change orders in coordination with field admin.
- Review daily LEMS submitted from field staff (proper wording, amount of sand, paint used, etc.)
- Produce and distribute status updated and forecasts to General Manager.
- Assist with estimating labor, equipment, and tools needed for projects.
- Updating project scope Schedule & Cost as situations develop.
- Coordinate vehicle/equipment maintenance schedule.
- Clear communication with Safety.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required but not limited to**:

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in an administrative role, preferably with project coordination and management in the construction industry.
- _**NACE/AMPP Coating inspector certification (level 1,2,3) preferred**_.
- Industrial Coating / Blasting experience would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 would be an advantage.
- Be able to effectively communicate with both customers and field employees.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Training; Valid Driver’s License
