- Note: This position will require occasional travel across the region.

**About Us**:
The
**Office of the Worker Adviser (OWA)** is an independent agency of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. We have fifteen offices located throughout Ontario. Our team educates, advises and represents non-union workers who have been injured at work or who have been threatened or punished for following health and safety laws. Each year, thousands of vulnerable workers and their surviving family members entrust us with their cases.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this senior leadership role, you'll be expected to:

- Demonstrate authenticity, accountability and courage.

- Lead and manage direct reports in two offices in the Toronto region (Toronto and Scarborough) and four offices in Central Region (Mississauga, Downsview, Hamilton, and St Catharines)
- Provide strategic advice to executive levels on issues impacting agency's service deliverables.
- Lead business, finance and resource planning activities to support agency program operations and services.
- Build organizational capacity through effective human resources practices.
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationship with business partners and stakeholders.
