**Purpose**: To provide safe effective, ethical care for patients before, during and after imaging examinations. To consistently perform high quality diagnostic imaging studies, and assist the Radiologist during interventional procedures.

**Education and Training**:

- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required
- Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.

**Experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in small parts, general, obstetrical, MSK
- Vascular experience preferred and required within 1 year of hire
- NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification preferred and required within 1 year of hire
- Proven skill in the production of consistently high-quality ultrasound images.
- Experience in Ultrasound Special Procedures i.e. biopsies, is an asset.
