**SCOPE OF THE POSITION**
This position is responsible for expediting, tracking and updating delivery shipments from vendors. They will work closely with the Purchasing and Inventory team, Sales, the Opco’s ERP system, and external vendors and freight carriers/customs broker.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Expediting and tracking the delivery of shipments from vendors in Western Canada
Updating expected delivery status/tracking info in the ERP system
Work with vendors daily to obtain details of incoming shipments and status of orders in production
Update buyers as required to ensure prompt reaction to potential delivery issues
Provide backup for the Inventory Coordinator
Run reports to identify and analyze high priority items and monitor ship dates.
Other duties as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Post Secondary Degree/Diploma/Certification
- 2 years equivalent experience
