**Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant - FULL TIME / PERMANENT**
Nadon Professional Corporation, a solicitor-based law firm with a high-volume Real Estate and Wills & Estates practice, is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join the team.
- **Pay**_**:
Pay level is commensurate with experience.
$24.00 - $30.00 / hour
- **Roles and Responsibilities**_
- Open files and maintain database of client records.
- Prepare daily cheques and wire transfers while working closely with
legal assistants and lawyers.
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Generate, review, and adjust Billing of Client Invoices.
- Manage AP, AR, and GL accounting.
- Reconcile corporate credit card expenses and Transaction Levy Surcharges to monthly statements.
- Reconcile and remit HST and source deduction.
- Verify the receipt and deposit of Trust funds.
- Adhere to appropriate Trust Account regulatory frameworks.
- **Requirements**_
- Bilingual (considered an asset)
- Completion of University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid understanding of account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and payroll processes
- Familiarity with the rules and procedures mandated by the Law Society of Ontario for Trust Account management.
