**Construction Surveyor - Fly In, Fly Out**

Inline Group Inc. has an immediate opportunity available for a highly skilled **Construction Surveyor** for our various Canadian Project locations. This position is Fly In, Fly Out (FIFO) with varying shift rotations. **Key Accountabilities**
- Record and maintain daily field notes of survey activities and survey logbooks of submitted field file information.
- Perform various aspects of industrial survey including but not limited to concrete foundations, structural steel, mechanical pipe networks and piling accurately, efficiently and with mínimal supervision.
- Perform various aspects of heavy civil survey including but not limited to underground trenching and piping utilities, open pit mining, roadway & railway corridors, dyke builds, drilling and blasting operations, and new drainage systems networks accurately, efficiently and with mínimal supervision.
- Extensive experience with the latest Trimble GPS & Total station equipment and software.
- Troubleshoot and maintain the various types of Trimble survey equipment & fleet vehicles.
- Effectively and actively communicate with the Client, Drafters and PMs, and field Supervisors on design files, concerns with information and potential conflicts.
- Able to accurately read and interpret design plans to confirm field support files and issues.
- Facilitate and maintain strong positive client relations.
- Actively participate in Inline ISO 9001 Quality Program
- Actively participate in Inline corporate HSE program
- Actively participate in all clients mandated safety programs
- Encourage safe work, safety & quality interventions. Lead by example for both fellow coworkers and all project personnel.

**Minimum Qualification, Experience & Skills**
- 5-7+ years in construction survey environment
- Completed civil engineering/geomatics diploma or equivalent.
- Valid class 5 drivers’ licence with 5-year clean drivers abstract.
- Excellent Trimble GPS & Total Station knowledge
- CSTS 2020, CSO, WHMIS 2015 certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Detail oriented with a professional approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in 3D laser scan collections would be considered an asset.
- Experience in UAV capture and an advanced pilot’s certificate would be considered an asset.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D would be considered an asset.
- Leadership for Safety Excellence would be considered an asset.

**Fly In, Fly Out (FIFO) Project Highlights**
- Projects are in remote areas throughout Canada.
- Accommodations and meals are provided at zero cost to the employee.
- Fully paid flights or a flight allowance are provided to the employee to assist with transportation to and from the project site. Flight arrangements will vary depending on the worksite.
- 80% more over time than a traditional 40-hour workweek (10-12-hour workdays)
- Scheduled work shifts (IE. 14 days on, 14 days off or 14 days on, 7 days off). Shifts will vary depending on the worksite.
